Like adjacent Edgebrook, Sauganash is a particularly suburban neighborhood inside Chicago; these communities became a haven for affluent city-employed officials when Chicago residency became mandatory for those working for the city. Today Sauganash seems much like the near Northwest Suburbs it adjoins such as Park Ridge. [More]
