Description of Garfield Park
The trip to this economically troubled area is worth making to visit the stunning Garfield Park Conservatory, and, for those familiar with the neighborhood, to sample its array of noteworthy 19th and early 20th-century architecture. Highlights include the King-Nash house along Washington Boulevard, and the nearby Fifth City neighborhood to the southeast of the park.
