Description of Lithuanian Plaza - Marquette Park
In his article "Letter from Little Lithuania", (balticsww.com), Michael Tarm describes Chicago's tiny Lithuanian Plaza in some detail, with its "neo-baroque Lithuanian Catholic Church that could have been plucked from old town Vilnius... Seklycia restaurant, where the smell of fried zeppelini wafts in from the kitchen to mingle with sounds of impeccable Lithuanian.... [and the] Antano Kampas Lithuanian Deli", a visit to which "is like stepping into Lithuania itself". (View image of Lithuanian Plaza)
