Edgebrook
Community Overview
Some of Chicago's most gorgeous forest preserves flank the outlying neighborhood of Edgebrook. Its semi-suburban business district has a mid-20th Century hometown character, and many of the neighborhood's houses are in charming bungalow styles. Although not ostentatious, Edgebrook is one of Chicago's most distinguished and influential communities. It divides itself into five microneighborhoods: North Edgebrook, Wildwood, Middle Edgebrook, South Edgebrook, and Old Edgebrook.
