A smaller border suburb just to the west of Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood, Lincolnwood is well-developed and affluent, with a stylish shopping mall (pictured) and a population of various European and Asian ancestries. With 21% of Asian descent, Lincolnwood has one of Chicago's highest concentrations of Asians, and with 7% of the population speaking Greek, it vies for Chicagoland's densest concentration of Greeks. By contrast, it has next to no African Americans and relatively few Hispanics (4.3 %).
