Like Albany Park to its east, Mayfair includes a diverse population, but the neighborhood's feeling is more village than city. With tree-lined cul-de-sacs nestled just a stone's throw from the roar of I-90 and the CTA Blue Line, the neighborhood's position makes it a study in contrasts, although its character suggests the closely-knit feeling of a small town.
