Between the commercial districts along Lincoln Ave and Clark St close to the lake to the east, and De Paul University to the west and the high-income residential areas surrounding it, the Lincoln Park Community Area has a friendly heart: the neighborhood in the vicinity of charming Oz Park. With two major hospitals (Children's Memorial and Grant) and several large schools nearby, including Lincoln Park's central high school and one of its elementary schools, the Oz Park neighborhood has a more down-to-earth feel than academic De Paul or the high-society quarters elsewhere in Lincoln Park.
