At the far north of Chicago's lakefront, Rogers Park represents one of Chicago's most diverse neighborhoods and arguably one of its most interesting. Originally part of the township of Evanston, Rogers Park became part of the city of Chicago near the turn of the 20th Century. It has been through many cycles, remaining a place of immigrant settlement, of intellectual stimulus (bolstered by Loyola University of Chicago's campus here), and of cultural exchange. [More]
