The rich collection of material that you will find
on WildOnions.org is derived primarily from two methods: primary
fieldwork, in which our researchers explore every corner of the
metropolitan area to learn and record exactly what's there, and
the examination of primary sources, such as the U.S. Census Bureau
and the U.S. Geological Survey, which offer reservoirs of demographics
and key features essential to the understanding of the city's cultural
topography.
In addition, we poll from a wide variety of secondary sources, especially
historical and architectural guides, as well as a cross-section
of contemporary journalism, both online and in print format. Below
you will find as complete a list as practical of the resources that
we have carefully studied in the process of putting this extensive
network of information together.
