proposed Wild Onion Quarterly journal project would be a collection of informative
nonfiction about the city of Chicago, its suburbs, and the surrounding region.
Its contemporary commentaries about Chicago-area neighbohoods and suburbs might
include memoir pieces, regional reflections, and academic essays. Both regular
WildOnions.org staff members and the public at large could contribute to this
unique online resource, and submissions would be accepted on a rotating, quarterly
basis. The material above represents examples of the kind of articles and essays
that the Wild Onion Quarterly journal might publish.
